Ben Shuldiner, MSEd
Ben Shuldiner, MSEd, is Superintendent of the Lansing School District in Lansing, Michigan. Previously, he was a Dean’s Fellow and the Distinguished Lecturer of Education Leadership at Hunter College, City University of New York, where he directed all School and District Leadership programs for the institution. From 2015-2018, Ben served on the New York City Board of Education, the largest school system in America. In 2016 and again in 2017, Ben was elected President of ASCD, the largest education professional organization in the country, comprising over 125,000 members. Before these roles, Ben was the founder and principal of the High School for Public Service in Brooklyn, NY. Ben received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and his MSEd from Baruch College.
