Sexual Health and Women with Bleeding Disorder
Women’s health is more than reproductive health. In this presentation you will learn about the female anatomy and sexual function along with bleeding disorders specific complications that may arise.
Sexual education is presented pertinent to those who may not yet be sexually active, those that are currently sexually active, and those that may have been active in the past. Each section has information pertinent to today and tomorrow to ensure women with bleeding disorders understand their sexual health.

Amber Federizo, APRN, FNP-BC
Born and raised in the rural reaches of Nevada, Amber has a passion for reaching those who might otherwise be lost or forgotten. With this has come a form of resilience which transcends the point most would give up. Her passion and candor shine light and hope to vulnerable populations. This passion culminated in the recognition of this work in 2018 when she was selected by the National Hemophilia Foundation as the Humanitarian of the year.
In addition to her doctorate, she also holds a master’s degree in nursing education. Through research, education, and advocacy her work continues to provide pathways to new opportunities for all.
