Betsy Koval has extensive experience in the bleeding disorders community, having served as a senior clinical specialist, educator, and training leader. She has provided education to patients, families, and healthcare providers, with a focus on empowering them with knowledge to improve health.
Previously, Betsy was the lead pediatric and adolescent transition nurse coordinator at the Hemophilia of Georgia Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders at Emory University and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for nearly 10 years. She has also presented at regional and national conferences on bleeding disorders and care transitions.
Betsy’s background includes roles as a certified clinical research coordinator and in critical care and solid organ transplantation in Emory’s ICU. She is honored to support the bleeding disorders community and values empowering patients and families in her role.
